size:

	- 34" from upper canopy to boat of brass light nipple
	- 16" wide at the canopy band
	- upper and lower glass jar measures 8" each

materials:

	- single halophane ceiling light fixture with original nickel-plated canopy
	- the two-part shade is made of borosilicate glass containing reflector/refractor properties.
	- the ribbed glass shade and/or reflector is known as halophane.
	- the company manufacturing these fixtures (beginning in 1898) is known as the holophane company (based in newark, oh.).
	- the fixture has been rewired.
